Getting to Know the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado Trim Levels: Mid-Size Power

WT

The WT is the base trim in the Colorado line. Like all Colorado trims, it offers a choice of RWD or 4WD drivetrains and the efficient but powerful TurboMax engine paired with an 8-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Together, they deliver 310 horsepower and 430 foot-pounds of hard-working torque. It also includes a standard Safety Package featuring rear cross-traffic braking, blind zone steering assist, and rear park assist.

LT

The LT maintains the same engine and transmission combination as the WT, but it offers a step up in standard features. Those features include an engine cover, an EZ Lift and Lower StowFlex tailgate, a manual tilt and telescoping steering wheel, remote start, interior dual reading lights, an 8-way power driver seat with power lumbar control, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, body-color door handles, and keyless entry and start.

Trail Boss

The Trail Boss is built to tackle obstacles off-road, and it has additional features that enable it to conquer any terrain with ease. In addition to the standard 4WD, it also includes 18-inch all-terrain blackwall 32-inch OD tires, 18-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels, and wheel flares. It also comes with a standard advanced trailering package with a built-in hitch, trailer brake controller, in-vehicle trailering app, and automatic locking rear differential.

Z71

Chevy’s Z71 trim always designates a truck built for the rigors of the off-road environment that is equally at home on the pavement. With upgraded features like signature LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps and projector headlamps, an Autotrac 2-speed transfer case with push-button controls, remote express-down for all windows, wireless phone charging, a 120-volt power outlet, a 120-volt bed-mounted power outlet, and cloth and Evotex seat trim.

ZR2

The ZR2 is the flagship trim level in the Colorado line, offering maximum capability and high-end all-terrain prowess. The ZR2’s enhanced off-road capability is powered by features like its driver-selectable full-locking front and rear differentials, off-road rock protectors, a high-performance suspension with DSSV Multimatic dampers, a 3-inch factory lift, a taller and wider stance, an off-road front fascia, and 17-inch all-terrain blackwall 33-inch OD tires.
