Tire Pressure Sensor

Your vehicle will alert you when there is something not quite right with the amount of pressure that is inside of one or more of your tires. You could have a problem that’s as simple as needing a little bit of air added to your tires. In fact, cold temperatures outside will cause the air inside of your tires to condense. This will often trigger your tire pressure light to go on.

If you check all four of your tires to find that they don’t need any adjustments, you can have a service technician at Mangino Chevrolet check to see if your tire pressure sensor is functioning properly. There could be a loose or faulty connection that needs repair.

If you have a tire that is slowly leaking air, it’s time to consider buying a new tire. A frequent tire pressure light can be an indicator of something very important.
