The Chevy Suburban has three rows of seating that be modified to suit every family’s needs. Although the standard seating configuration fits eight, the first row can be upgraded to a bench seat, bringing seating capacity up to nine. Those who want greater comfort for their passengers can opt for second-row captain’s chairs instead of the bench seat, lowering capacity to seven.

Six trims offer varying levels of standard convenience and comfort features. Higher trims come with increasingly luxurious amenities, including standard heated and ventilated front bucket seats in the Premier trim. In all models, the second and third rows can both be folded down to create 144.5 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. The low and flat load floor makes the business of loading and unloading easier than in vehicles with higher floors.

Power When You Need It
Three available engines are featured in the 2025 Suburban. Standard in all trims except High Country is a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine, which is good for 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. This engine also offers the highest towing capacity of all options at 8,200 lbs with the optional Max Trailering Package. High Country models are outfitted with a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, which delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

In the Z71 trim, a Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine is offered for the very first time. It produces 10% more horsepower than the previous generation iteration, with a rating of 305 ponies along with 495 lb-ft of torque. The diesel engine is also estimated to provide 728 miles of highway range per tank, which is the highest in its class.

Modern Technology
All models come with a massive 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11-inch digital cluster gauge. An optional 15-inch Head-Up Display projects information of your choosing onto the windshield in front of you, so you don’t need to take your eyes off the road to find what you’re looking for.
